Who you are

You have a BS/MS/PhD in Electronic Engineering or related fields, and you bring a keen attention to detail and a love for excellence in your work. Your experience in system validation and ASIC design validation has equipped you with the skills necessary to contribute effectively to the team at Apple. You understand the importance of the tight interaction between pre-silicon design and post-silicon validation, and you are committed to delivering extraordinary results.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with IC Design teams, Firmware, and System teams. Your ability to define and implement validation plans, as well as your experience in custom board-level hardware for IC bring-up and test, make you a valuable asset to the team. You are motivated by the challenge of debugging and validating complex systems, and you take pride in your contributions to high-quality product releases.

What you'll do

As a Silicon Validation Engineer at Apple, you will be involved in all levels of the silicon validation process, from pre-silicon bring-up to mass-production release. You will define custom board-level hardware for IC bring-up and test, ensuring that the validation plans you implement are thorough and effective. Your role will require you to work closely with module and system teams to support design integration and debug system-level issues.

You will participate in the characterization of analog and mixed-signal Power Management circuits, focusing on battery-operated portable devices. Your expertise will help drive execution from the first silicon through to production, ensuring that the products meet Apple's high standards of quality. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of validation processes within the team.
