Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in silicon validation and debugging, with experience in analyzing circuit marginalities and process-design interactions. Your expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Tcl allows you to automate tests effectively and analyze results efficiently. You are detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills, enabling you to triage issues and isolate failures in complex systems. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with functional test writers to understand high-level architectures of IP blocks within Apple SoCs. Your ability to communicate technical concepts clearly makes you a valuable team member.
What you'll do
As a SoC Validation Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for validating Apple SoCs using system workloads. You will define and execute validation plans, working with large volumes of prototype SoCs across various Process, Voltage, and Temperature (PVT) corners. Your role will involve characterizing the functional voltage of SoCs under workloads and identifying potential issues. When issues arise, you will be the first line of defense, triaging problems and collaborating with domain experts to find solutions. You will also contribute to the development of automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
