Who you are

You have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of experience in silicon validation software engineering or a related area. Your strong software skills in C/C++ allow you to write code close to the hardware, and you are familiar with programming in assembly language. You are passionate about debugging and have a keen interest in system-level validation of SoCs. Your familiarity with Python, Tcl, and Perl enhances your ability to create effective testing scenarios for complex systems.

What you'll do

In this role, you will dive deep into the SoC architecture and become a specialist in Apple's existing SiVal software stack. You will be responsible for developing creative testing strategies to validate the SoCs under various stress and corner-case scenarios. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of Apple's next generation products, ensuring they meet the highest standards before reaching consumers. You will collaborate with a diverse team of embedded software engineers, sharing insights and strategies to enhance the validation process. Your contributions will help shape the future of Apple's hardware and software integration, making a significant impact on the user experience.
