Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in Golang allows you to build robust and scalable systems that support high-demand services. You understand the intricacies of hybrid cloud management and have hands-on experience with tools like Terraform and Kubernetes.
You are a collaborative engineer who enjoys working closely with cross-functional teams. Your ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders ensures that you can grasp their needs and translate them into technical solutions. You thrive in environments where you can influence platform tools and architecture, driving innovation and efficiency.
Desirable
Experience with Spinnaker and Pulumi is a plus, as it aligns with the technologies used in our cloud platform. Familiarity with user-facing backend services will also enhance your contributions to the team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take ownership of critical components of Apple's cloud infrastructure. You will design and implement solutions that enhance the capabilities of services like iCloud, Siri, and iTunes. Your work will involve developing Terraform and Pulumi providers, as well as creating reference architectures in code.
You will collaborate with various engineering teams to understand their workflows and requirements, ensuring that the cloud platform evolves to meet the needs of Apple developers. Your contributions will directly impact how services are built and operated, pushing the boundaries of cloud computing.
