Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building cloud infrastructure and services. Your expertise in Golang is complemented by a strong understanding of cloud technologies and architectures. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. You have experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Pulumi, and you're familiar with container orchestration using Kubernetes. Your ability to influence platform tools and architecture is a key strength, and you enjoy driving the evolution of features based on user needs.
Desirable
Experience with Spinnaker for continuous delivery and deployment is a plus. Familiarity with hybrid cloud management and a passion for optimizing cloud services will set you apart. You are comfortable navigating complex systems and have a track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take ownership of critical components of Apple's cloud platform, contributing to the development of services that power iCloud, Siri, and iTunes. You will collaborate with engineering teams to understand their workflows and requirements, ensuring that the platform evolves to meet their needs. Your responsibilities will include implementing Terraform or Pulumi providers, designing reference architectures, and building user-facing backend services.
