Who you are
You have a strong background in backend engineering, with experience in developing and maintaining large-scale data systems. You are comfortable working with complex business logic and have a keen understanding of performance optimization in data pipelines. Your technical expertise includes languages and frameworks such as Java and Clojure, and you are familiar with cloud platforms like GCP and AWS.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers and software engineers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs. You are adept at analyzing system performance and scalability, and you enjoy tackling diverse and complex problems at scale. Your experience with technologies like Kafka, Spark, and Kubernetes allows you to contribute effectively to the team.
What you'll do
As a Backend Engineer at AppsFlyer, you will be responsible for owning and evolving the Data Warehouse, ensuring it meets the needs of top-tier customers and partners. You will develop and enhance AppsFlyer products and features from design to production, working with petabytes of data flowing through our pipelines. Your role will involve solving complex problems with low clarity of the solution approach, requiring innovative thinking and technical expertise.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and software engineers, to deliver value to customers. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and improving the performance and scalability of our systems, as well as implementing new features based on client feedback. You will also engage in proof of concepts (POCs) to explore new technologies that can benefit both our customers and the company.
