Overview
AQR Capital Management is seeking a Compliance Manager to join their Compliance Reporting team. You'll be responsible for preparing responses to RFPs and DDQs while coordinating with various internal teams. This role requires 2-4 years of experience in compliance reporting or related fields.

Who you are
You are a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of experience in compliance reporting or related fields, ideally within financial services or investment management. Your exceptional writing and editing skills allow you to draft well-written and timely responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs). You possess strong project management abilities and have a keen attention to detail, ensuring that all communications are accurate and meet quality standards. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working effectively with internal teams such as Compliance, Legal, and Business Development to source and verify information. Your organizational skills enable you to manage a high volume of requests simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines. You are receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement, taking ownership of your responsibilities and seeing tasks through to completion.
Desirable
Prior experience with Responsive (formerly RFPIO) is preferred but not required. You are a self-starter who enjoys working independently while also being a team player, capable of navigating a fast-paced work environment.
What you'll do
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting AQR’s Compliance department by preparing accurate and timely responses to client information requests. You will draft and submit responses to RFPs and DDQs, covering multiple investment strategies and products. Maintaining and updating standard responses in the firm’s centralized content library will be part of your responsibilities. You will coordinate with various internal teams to ensure that proposed responses to client questions are sourced and verified accurately. Tracking and managing a high volume of requests will be essential, as you ensure that deadlines are met and that completed responses are properly maintained. Your role will require you to uphold quality standards while managing multiple communications effectively.
