Overview
AQR Capital Management is offering an Early Engagement Program for undergraduate sophomores to gain exposure to quantitative finance and the investment process. Participants will engage in discussions with analysts and explore AQR's investment strategies.
Job Description
Who you are
You are a current undergraduate sophomore studying a quantitative field such as Science, Math, or Engineering, with a strong desire to work in the financial services industry. You possess strong problem-solving and quantitative skills, and you have a high degree of intellectual curiosity. Your ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form sets you apart, and you are well-organized and detail-oriented, thriving in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do
As a participant in the AQR Discovery Early Engagement Program, you will experience a one-day on-site event that offers early exposure to quantitative finance and AQR's investment process. You will engage in firm and business overviews, deep dives into Research, Portfolio Implementation, and Trading, and participate in an applied analytics talk. Interactive discussions with Analysts and former interns will provide insights into how quantitative ideas are developed, implemented, and managed at scale. Additionally, you will have networking opportunities with researchers and portfolio implementation professionals, and gain an overview of AQR's recruiting process.
