Who you are
You are a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of assembly processes, particularly in the context of aerospace applications. You have experience working with schematics and can execute tasks such as cutting, stripping, and crimping with precision. Your commitment to quality aligns with the high standards required for space applications, ensuring that every harness you assemble meets stringent specifications.
You thrive in collaborative environments, interfacing directly with harness manufacturing and design engineers. Your ability to review design documents and work instructions is crucial in maintaining the integrity of the assembly process. You are organized and proactive, contributing to area organization and the implementation of 5S principles in the workspace.
What you'll do
As a Wire Harness Technician at Astranis, you will be responsible for assembling harnesses used on spacecraft, ensuring that each component is built to the highest quality standards. You will read and interpret schematics and work instructions, executing tasks that include cutting, stripping, and crimping wires with accuracy. Your role will involve direct collaboration with engineers to review design documents and work instructions, ensuring that all assembly processes are followed meticulously.
You will also play a key role in maintaining production equipment and ensuring that documentation within the manufacturing execution system is accurate and up to date.
