Overview

AuditBoard is hiring an Area Director, Expansion Sales to lead a team of Account Executives in selling AuditBoard products to mid-market and pre-IPO customers. This role requires strong leadership skills and a focus on achieving revenue targets.

You are an experienced sales leader with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing high-performing teams. You possess strong coaching abilities and are adept at developing talent within your team. Your strategic mindset allows you to identify new opportunities and effectively engage with mid-market and pre-IPO customers. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by achieving ambitious sales targets.

You have a deep understanding of the sales process and are skilled in building relationships with clients. Your ability to communicate effectively and inspire your team is key to your success. You are data-driven and use metrics to guide your decision-making, ensuring that your team is always focused on the right goals. You are passionate about helping your customers succeed and are committed to delivering exceptional service.

What you'll do

As the Area Director, Expansion Sales, you will lead a team of 4-5 Account Executives, guiding them to proactively generate new business opportunities and close deals with mid-market and pre-IPO customers. You will set clear revenue targets and develop strategies to achieve them, ensuring that your team is aligned and motivated to succeed. You will be responsible for recruiting top talent and fostering a culture of high performance and accountability within your team.

You will collaborate closely with the Vice President of Commercial Sales to align your team's efforts with the overall sales strategy of AuditBoard. Regularly reviewing performance metrics, you will identify areas for improvement and implement training and development initiatives to enhance your team's skills. You will also engage with key clients to understand their needs and ensure that AuditBoard's solutions are effectively meeting their requirements.
