Security Engineer • Junior

Who you are

You are a recent graduate with a degree in cybersecurity, computer science, IT, or a related field, eager to start your career in security engineering. You have a strong foundation in web and API penetration testing methodologies and are familiar with security code review tools like Burp Suite. Your interest in researching security technologies and solving complex problems drives your passion for this field. You possess proficiency in at least one programming language, such as C#, JavaScript, Python, or Java, which you have used in academic or personal projects. Relevant certifications like Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are a plus, showcasing your commitment to professional development.

What you'll do

In this role, you will conduct penetration testing and perform code security reviews for various product and project applications, ensuring that security vulnerabilities are identified and addressed. You will build and maintain Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, contributing to the overall security posture of the organization. Your responsibilities will also include researching cloud security technologies, such as Azure, AWS, and GCP, and conducting cloud security audits to ensure compliance with best practices. You will participate in network security maintenance, including incident analysis and investigation, helping to mitigate potential threats. As you explore cutting-edge security technologies, vulnerabilities, threat intelligence, and attack methods, you will collaborate with a team of experienced security professionals who will guide you in your growth.
