Security Engineer • Junior

Who you are

You are a recent graduate with a degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or IT, eager to start your career in security engineering. You have a strong interest in researching security technologies and solving challenging problems, and you are proficient in web/API penetration testing methodologies and security code reviews using tools like Burp Suite. You are familiar with at least one programming language, such as C#, JavaScript, Python, or Java, which you have used in academic projects or internships.

You possess strong communication skills, both spoken and written, and are comfortable working in English. Knowledge of Chinese is a plus, as it can help in collaborating with diverse teams. You are motivated to learn and grow in the field of cybersecurity, and you are open to obtaining relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, or CEH to enhance your expertise.

What you'll do

In this role, you will conduct penetration testing and perform code security reviews for various product and project applications, ensuring that security vulnerabilities are identified and mitigated. You will build and maintain Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, which are crucial for monitoring and analyzing security events. Additionally, you will research cloud security technologies, including Azure, AWS, and GCP, and conduct cloud security audits to ensure compliance with best practices.

You will participate in network security maintenance, including incident analysis and investigation, helping to respond to security incidents effectively. Your role will also involve exploring cutting-edge security technologies, vulnerabilities, threat intelligence, and attack methods to stay ahead of potential threats. You will collaborate with other security professionals and teams to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
