Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in finance and have spent at least 5 years working in roles that involve commission structures and sales incentives. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to diagnose and solve complex operational problems effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to design and implement effective incentive compensation plans.
You are a subject matter expert in commissions, with a deep understanding of how they impact sales organizations. Your experience has equipped you with the ability to analyze data and provide insights that drive decision-making. You are comfortable working with various stakeholders, including IT, Finance, and Accounting, to ensure that commission payouts are accurate and align with top-line bookings.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead all financial aspects of Axon's commission and sales incentive strategy for a global sales organization of over 600 people. You will collaborate with sales leadership to design and structure incentive compensation plans that motivate and reward the sales team effectively. Your responsibilities will include analyzing, validating, and forecasting commission payouts, ensuring that they are accurate and scalable.
You will work cross-functionally with various teams to ensure that commission calculations are efficient and transparent. Your role will involve problem-solving and data analysis, contributing to broader Commercial FP&A initiatives. You will be instrumental in building trusted partnerships across functions, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed about commission-related matters.
