Who you are
You have a strong background in finance and have spent at least 5 years leading financial operations, particularly in commission structures and sales incentives. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to diagnose and solve complex operational problems effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to design and implement effective incentive compensation plans.
Your experience includes working with large sales organizations, where you have ensured the accuracy and transparency of commission calculations. You are comfortable navigating financial statements and understand the impact of commissions on top-line bookings. You have a knack for building trusted partnerships across functions, which is essential for success in this role.
What you'll do
As the Senior Manager, Commissions, you will lead all financial aspects of the company’s commission and sales incentive strategy for a global sales organization of over 600 people. You will collaborate with sales leadership to design and structure incentive compensation plans that motivate and reward the sales team effectively. Your role will involve diagnosing and solving operational and analytical problems related to commissions, ensuring that calculations are accurate and processes are efficient.
You will work cross-functionally with Sales Strategy, IT, Finance, and Accounting to analyze, validate, and forecast commissions payouts. Your insights will contribute to broader Commercial FP&A initiatives, helping to shape the financial landscape of the organization. You will also play a key role in ensuring that the commission structure aligns with the company's mission to protect life and drive meaningful change.
