You are an entry-level accounting professional eager to establish core accounting operations in a fast-growing environment. You thrive in a hands-on role where you can contribute to the monthly close process and assist in developing accounting policies and documentation. You are detail-oriented and understand the importance of accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting. You are comfortable working in a lean, high-change setting and are excited about the opportunity to build processes from the ground up. You have a foundational understanding of US GAAP and are ready to apply your knowledge in a practical setting. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with others to achieve common goals.
What you'll do
In this role, you will execute monthly and quarterly close activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and documentation under US GAAP. You will support the preparation for the companyβs first annual financial statement audit, including PBC preparation and coordination with external auditors. As a key contributor to the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, you will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and scalability in all accounting workflows. You will assist in developing key accounting workflows, including close checklists, reconciliations, and prepaid and accrual accounting. You will partner with internal approvers and vendors to manage invoices and payments, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and efficiently. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of accounting policies and documentation, helping to shape the financial operations of the company as it grows.
