What you'll do

As the Head of Lab Execution Systems Engineering at Benchling, you will lead a group of engineering teams focused on delivering innovative software solutions for lab operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the specification, development, testing, deployment, and operational maintenance of software products that support complex lab workflows. You will ensure that all engineering work adheres to the highest standards of quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate closely with product management to define the roadmap for lab execution systems, ensuring that engineering efforts align with customer needs and market trends. Your role will involve regular communication with senior leadership to report on progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement within the engineering teams.

You will implement and refine agile processes within your teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
