Who you are

You have a strong background in life sciences R&D processes and scientific concepts, with experience in enterprise SaaS solutions. You are comfortable interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, establishing credibility and confidence from the first meeting. Your ability to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions is key to your success in this role. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with sales leadership, account executives, and product leaders to ensure the best solutions are presented to customers. You are a trusted adviser, adept at navigating complex IT environments and interfacing with various vendor solutions and legacy applications. Your communication skills allow you to effectively engage with senior scientific and IT leaders, ensuring that the solutions you propose drive significant value for customers.

What you'll do

As a Solution Consultant at Benchling, you will be the primary solution lead for customers and prospects, working to develop optimal solutions that meet their needs. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure that solutions are effectively integrated into complex IT environments. Your role will involve working closely with sales leadership and account executives to present the best solutions to customers, leveraging your understanding of life sciences R&D processes. You will engage with senior leaders from both scientific and IT backgrounds, establishing trust and credibility from the outset. Your ability to translate customer requirements into effective solutions will be critical, as you will be responsible for ensuring that the solutions deployed drive the most value for our customers. You will also be involved in pre-sales activities, working to understand customer needs and aligning them with Benchling's offerings. Your role will require you to stay updated on cutting-edge technologies and industry trends, allowing you to provide informed recommendations to customers.
