You are adept at working with both internal and external leaders and stakeholders, establishing credibility and confidence from the first meeting. You thrive in a pre-sales environment, collaborating closely with sales leadership and account executives to present the best solutions for customers. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex solutions effectively to senior scientific and IT leaders.

Desirable

Experience in interfacing with complex enterprise IT environments and familiarity with lab instruments and legacy applications will be advantageous. You are comfortable navigating the challenges of deploying solutions in diverse settings and can adapt to the unique needs of each customer.

What you'll do

As a Solution Consultant at Benchling, you will be the primary solution lead for our largest customers and prospects, working to develop and implement solutions that drive significant value. You will collaborate with sales and product teams to ensure that the solutions presented align with customer needs and expectations. Your role will involve interfacing with various vendor solutions and lab instruments, ensuring seamless integration into existing IT environments. You will engage with senior leaders in the life sciences sector, helping them understand how Benchling’s R&D Cloud can accelerate their product development processes.

You will also be responsible for gathering customer requirements and translating them into actionable solutions, working closely with professional services to ensure successful deployment. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be crucial in this role, as you will need to build trust and confidence with customers from the outset.
