Overview

BeyondTrust is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive new business and manage the full sales lifecycle. You'll work closely with various teams to develop and execute a territory sales plan. This role requires strong sales skills and experience in account management.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology or cybersecurity sectors, with at least 5 years of experience in account management or business development. You thrive in a flexible and collaborative environment, where you can leverage your skills to identify and close new business opportunities. Your ability to build relationships and trust with clients is paramount, and you are adept at navigating complex sales cycles. You are results-driven and have a strong understanding of sales forecasting and territory management. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and can align your strategies with broader company goals. You are located in the NYC metro area and are ready to contribute to a mission-driven company.

Desirable

Experience in cybersecurity or SaaS sales is a plus, as is familiarity with sales tools and CRM systems. You are a strategic thinker who can develop go-to-market plans and execute them effectively. You have a passion for continuous learning and personal growth, and you are eager to take on challenges that push you to excel.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, generating, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities within your defined territory. You will manage the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting to closing, ensuring that you meet or exceed your monthly and annual quotas. You will develop and maintain a territory sales plan that outlines your roadmap to success, and you will proactively prospect for all product lines and opportunities with both new and existing customers. You will collaborate closely with the Vice President, Sales Engineers, Partner Account Managers, and other team members to deliver on strategic goals. You will also align with the Channel team and Channel Partners to maximize value for customers and BeyondTrust. Attending corporate trade shows and events will be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to network and promote our offerings effectively.
