Who you are

You have a strong background in accounting with a focus on general ledger activities, and you are comfortable working independently without guidance. Your experience includes mastering financial transactions and ensuring compliance with United States GAAP, which is crucial for this role. You are confident in dealing with external stakeholders and resolving discrepancies in a professional manner.

You possess advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, which are essential for handling complex financial data. Your ability to compute, classify, record, and verify financial data supports accurate and timely financial reporting, making you a valuable asset to the finance team.

What you'll do

As the Accounting Supervisor, you will partner with the Finance Manager to assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end close processes. You will handle commissions accounting and prepare balance sheet reconciliations while being involved in the treasury cycle. Your role will also include assisting with audit schedules for annual reviews and understanding the impact of daily tasks on account balance assertions and GAAP reporting.

You will review, investigate, and resolve account discrepancies, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy. Additionally, you will oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions from a general ledger perspective, ensuring all statutory compliances are met for the company in India. Your responsibilities will require you to manage facility billing on a monthly basis and determine payables based on aging dates.
