You are a proactive individual with a 'doer' attitude, ready to take initiative and work independently. You possess excellent time-management skills and can effectively prioritize tasks to overcome obstacles that arise in day-to-day operations. Your ability to communicate clearly is essential, as you will be collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. You have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for work-related duties, which is crucial for managing the fleet of e-scooters. Additionally, you are prepared to acquire general liability and commercial auto insurance within 30 days of onboarding, demonstrating your commitment to the role.
What you'll do
As an Operations Partner at Bird, you will manage the end-to-end operation of the e-scooter fleet in Los Angeles. This includes ensuring that the scooters are charged, deployed, relocated, and retrieved as needed to meet the transportation demands of the community. You will utilize mobile technology to monitor the fleet's status and make data-driven decisions to enhance operational efficiency. Problem-solving will be a key part of your role, as you will need to prioritize tasks and navigate challenges that arise in the field.
