Who you are
You have a strong background in operational management, particularly within hardware projects, and are adept at leading cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Your experience includes managing schedules and communicating risks effectively, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned throughout the development process. You understand the intricacies of working with Contract Manufacturers and have a keen eye for detail when it comes to overseeing production stages.
You are familiar with the challenges of transitioning products from development to mass production, and you possess the operational mindset necessary to maintain a healthy supply chain. Your ability to navigate cross-functional issues and risks is complemented by your proactive approach to problem-solving, making you a valuable asset to any team.
What you'll do
As the Hardware Operations Program Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of all hardware projects within Block. This includes driving schedules, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring that development builds and mass production are executed successfully. You will work closely with Contract Manufacturers to oversee day-to-day activities, from New Product Introduction (NPI) through to sustaining stages, always keeping the top-level project goals in sight.
Your role will involve communicating risks and priorities effectively to ensure that all team members are informed and aligned. You will leverage your operational management experience to achieve objectives for the company, ensuring that all hardware projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards. You will also be expected to maintain a strong operational mindset, enabling you to set the direction for successful project execution.
