Who you are

You have a strong background in program management, particularly in the context of risk and compliance. Your experience includes managing third-party relationships and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You understand the complexities of working with various stakeholders and can navigate these relationships effectively.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate compliance requirements clearly to both internal teams and external partners. Your ability to analyze risks and develop mitigation strategies is a key strength, enabling you to support the growth of the organization while maintaining compliance.

You are detail-oriented and organized, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Your analytical mindset helps you identify potential risks and develop effective solutions to address them. Desirable

Experience in the financial services industry or with payment processing companies is a plus. Familiarity with compliance frameworks and risk management practices will enhance your candidacy. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for managing Square Australia's third-party risk and compliance outsourcing initiatives. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that all third-party relationships comply with regulatory standards and internal policies. Your role will involve conducting risk assessments, developing compliance strategies, and monitoring the effectiveness of these strategies over time.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify potential risks associated with third-party partnerships and develop mitigation plans. Your ability to communicate effectively will be crucial as you present findings and recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders.

Additionally, you will play a key role in evolving the compliance program, ensuring it remains aligned with industry best practices and regulatory changes. You will also be responsible for training and educating internal teams on compliance requirements and best practices related to third-party risk management.
