Whatnot is hiring a Partnerships Associate to become the go-to expert for seller and buyer dynamics in their community. You'll engage in seller outreach and relationship management to grow the platform. This position is based in Sydney, Australia.

You are a proactive individual with a passion for community engagement and e-commerce. You thrive in dynamic environments and are eager to learn about seller and buyer dynamics within the live shopping space. Your communication skills allow you to effectively connect with diverse groups, and you have a knack for building relationships that foster collaboration and growth.
You understand the importance of leveraging social media and other outreach channels to attract sellers to the platform. Your ability to onboard and educate sellers on using the app will be crucial in helping them succeed on Whatnot. You are adaptable and ready to represent Whatnot at in-person events, showcasing your enthusiasm for the community.
What you'll do
As a Partnerships Associate, you will become the go-to expert in your category, diving deep into the nuances of seller and buyer interactions. You will be responsible for sourcing and reaching out to potential sellers, convincing them to join Whatnot and grow their businesses. Your outreach efforts will include leveraging social media, outbound channels, and participating in in-person events to create meaningful connections.
You will onboard groups of sellers, teaching them how to effectively use the app and navigate the platform. Building and maintaining strong relationships with sellers and top strategic partners will be a key part of your role, ensuring that they feel supported and valued within the Whatnot community. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth and success of the platform as you help sellers thrive in their businesses.
