Who you are
You have a strong background in accounting and compliance, with at least 5 years of experience in a professional services environment. Your expertise in financial reporting standards such as ASC 340, ASC 606, and IFRS 15 sets you apart, and you understand the complexities of incentive compensation systems. You are a natural leader, capable of guiding a team of consultants and architects to deliver high-quality services that connect operational delivery with financial accuracy. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are passionate about driving strategic business value through effective reporting practices.
Desirable
Experience with incentive compensation management systems is a plus, as is familiarity with various financial software tools. You have a proven track record of scaling teams and practices, and you are comfortable navigating the intersection of accounting and technology. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the Accounting & Reporting delivery team at CaptivateIQ, overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the financial reporting layer across complex incentive compensation systems. You will ensure that all reporting is accurate, audit-ready, and compliant with relevant accounting standards. Your leadership will be crucial in scaling a world-class reporting and compliance practice, connecting operational delivery with strategic business value. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices in financial reporting.
You will also be responsible for mentoring and developing your team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Your role will involve regular collaboration with other departments to ensure alignment on financial goals and reporting requirements. You will drive initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the reporting process, ultimately contributing to the overall success of the organization.
