Who you are
You have a strong background in communications and public relations, with experience in developing and implementing external communications strategies. You are skilled in drafting bilingual press releases and media statements that align with the company's tone and strategic objectives. Your ability to build and maintain relationships with tier-one media across various channels is a key strength, particularly in the fintech, AI, business, and lifestyle sectors. You are fluent in both English and Arabic, enabling you to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. You are a curious problem-solver who is eager to apply your skills in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing external communications plans for key product and business announcements across Careemβs various verticals. You will draft bilingual press releases, media statements, and executive briefings that reflect Careemβs strategic objectives. Building and nurturing strong relationships with journalists and editors will be crucial to securing consistent, high-quality media coverage. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure that communications are aligned with the company's goals and messaging. Your role will involve monitoring media coverage and analyzing the effectiveness of communication strategies to continuously improve outreach efforts.
