You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the finance or venture capital sectors — your experience has equipped you with the ability to understand complex financial products and articulate their value to clients. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at building relationships with key stakeholders, including venture capital firms and private equity clients.
Your communication skills are exceptional — you can convey complex information clearly and persuasively, ensuring that clients understand how Carta's solutions can meet their needs. You are results-driven and have a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets, demonstrating your ability to drive growth for the company.
You are a team player who collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, including product and marketing, to ensure that client feedback is integrated into the development of Carta's offerings. You are comfortable using CRM tools and data analytics to track your sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Desirable
Experience in venture capital or private equity is a plus, as it will enable you to connect with clients on a deeper level. Familiarity with fund administration software or financial technology solutions will give you an edge in understanding the competitive landscape and positioning Carta effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within the Venture Capital Fund Administration team — you will identify and engage potential clients, presenting Carta's innovative solutions to meet their needs. You will build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling additional services.
