Who you are
You have at least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company like Carvana. As an Automotive Mechanic, you are skilled in performing light maintenance and repairs, including changing brakes and tires. You understand the importance of routine inspections and maintenance, and you are comfortable with basic mechanical repairs for brake pads, calipers, rotors, tire installations, and wheel alignments. You are a team player who values collaboration and is excited to work in a high-tech environment.
Desirable
While not required, any additional certifications or training in automotive repair will be beneficial. You are open to learning and growing your skills through training programs offered by Carvana. A valid driverβs license is essential, and you must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
What you'll do
As an Automotive Mechanic at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing light maintenance and repairs on vehicles. This includes changing brakes and tires, conducting routine inspections, and performing basic mechanical repairs. You will work with state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, ensuring that all vehicles meet safety and quality standards. You will also have the opportunity to participate in training programs that will help you advance your skills and pay as you grow with the company.
You will be part of a supportive team that values your contributions and encourages your professional development. Your role will involve collaborating with other technicians and staff to ensure that all vehicles are ready for sale, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. You will also be responsible for keeping your work area clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols, and providing excellent customer service when interacting with clients.
