Job Description
Who you are
You have at least 1 year of professional automotive repair experience and are eager to join a fast-growing company like Carvana. As an Automotive Technician, you are skilled in performing light maintenance and repairs, particularly in brake and tire services. You understand the importance of routine inspections and maintenance, and you are comfortable working with state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech environment. You possess a valid driverβs license and can communicate effectively in English, ensuring that you can interact with customers and team members seamlessly.
Desirable
While not required, any additional certifications such as ASE would be a plus, as would experience with advanced automotive technologies. You are open to learning and growing within the company, taking advantage of training programs to enhance your skills and advance your career.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, ensuring they meet safety standards. You will change brakes and tires, conduct basic mechanical repairs, and perform wheel alignments. Your work will help prepare low-mileage, late-model cars for sale, contributing to Carvana's mission of providing high-quality vehicles to customers. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools and equipment in our Inspection Centers, ensuring that every vehicle is in top condition before it reaches our customers.
You will also have the opportunity to participate in training programs designed to enhance your skills and knowledge in automotive repair. As you gain experience, you will be encouraged to take on more complex tasks and responsibilities, allowing you to grow within the company. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and quality of our service, making you an integral part of the Carvana team.
