Carvana is seeking a Detail Shop Quality Supervisor to manage and develop a team in their Inspection Center. You'll oversee vehicle inspections and ensure production targets are met. This role requires strong leadership and operational management skills.

You have experience in a supervisory role, ideally within an operations or quality assurance environment — you understand the importance of maintaining high standards and can effectively lead a team to achieve production goals. You are skilled at identifying team strengths and weaknesses, and you know how to motivate and develop your team to improve performance. You are detail-oriented and committed to ensuring that every vehicle meets rigorous quality standards before reaching customers.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously — your organizational skills allow you to oversee the movement of vehicles safely and efficiently. You are proactive in addressing issues and finding solutions that enhance team productivity and quality outcomes. You have a strong understanding of operational metrics and can analyze performance data to drive continuous improvement.
Desirable
Experience in the automotive industry or a similar field would be a plus, as would familiarity with quality control processes. You are comfortable using technology to track production metrics and communicate effectively with your team and other departments.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage the daily operations of the Inspection Center, ensuring that vehicles are processed efficiently and meet quality standards. You will oversee the movement of cars into and out of the center, coordinating with your team to meet production targets consistently. You will engage with your team to provide guidance and support, helping them to develop their skills and improve their performance.
You will be responsible for setting production and quality goals, monitoring progress, and implementing strategies to achieve these objectives. You will conduct regular assessments of team performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing feedback to help your team succeed. You will also collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless workflow and address any operational challenges that arise.
