Enviva is hiring a Quality Supervisor to oversee quality control processes at their plant in Garysburg, NC. You'll manage lab operations, maintain quality metrics, and ensure compliance with customer specifications. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills.

Who you are
You have a strong background in quality management and are passionate about ensuring product excellence. Your experience includes overseeing laboratory operations and managing quality control processes, where you've developed and maintained quality control tools and instructions to guide product management. You are skilled in training and certifying operators, ensuring that all testing procedures are followed accurately and efficiently.
You understand the importance of maintaining quality metrics and are adept at using electronic quality logs to track performance. Your analytical mindset allows you to interpret finished goods quality metrics against internal standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions. You are committed to fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within your team.
What you'll do
As a Quality Supervisor at Enviva, you will be responsible for managing the plant laboratory and supervising the sampling and testing of finished goods. You will maintain test equipment and ensure that all QA/QC documentation is accurate and up to date. Your role will involve developing, auditing, and maintaining test procedures to ensure timely and accurate test results.
You will oversee the daily collection and testing of samples, tracking and interpreting quality metrics to ensure compliance with customer specifications. Additionally, you will perform special-project tests to investigate quality issues and study potential improvements. Your leadership will be crucial in coordinating, standardizing, and centralizing processes critical to maintaining client specifications.
