You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience, demonstrating your expertise in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues. Your background includes extensive work with advanced vehicle electrical systems, allowing you to tackle complex problems with confidence. You are skilled in performing heavy engine work and have a strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics across all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles.
You are a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your attention to detail ensures that every repair is completed to the highest standards, and you take pride in your ability to work with state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech inspection center. You are also open to continuous learning, as you understand the importance of keeping up with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
What you'll do
As a Lead Diagnostic Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive repairs and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles. Your day-to-day tasks will include repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues, installing and repairing refrigerant and recovery systems, and conducting thorough vehicle diagnostics to ensure all repairs meet safety and performance standards. You will work closely with other technicians and team members to maintain a smooth workflow and ensure that vehicles are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
You will also have the opportunity to mentor entry-level technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Your commitment to teamwork and collaboration will be essential as you work together to meet the company's mission of delivering exceptional customer service. Additionally, you will be expected to participate in ongoing training programs to enhance your skills and stay updated on industry advancements.
