You are a commercially sharp Trading Cards Expert with a deep understanding of the Japanese trading card culture. Your strong local network allows you to bring insights on trends and market signals to Catawiki, ensuring that you stay ahead of the competition. You have a data-driven mindset that helps you make informed decisions and curate high-quality auctions that appeal to both Japanese sellers and European collectors.
You understand the nuances of the trading card market and can effectively onboard and support Japanese sellers. Your ability to bridge the gap between Japanese supply and European demand is crucial to establishing Catawiki as a trusted destination for trading cards. You are passionate about the trading card community and are eager to contribute to its growth on a global scale.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for growing Catawikiβs Japanese Trading Cards supply by curating high-quality auctions that attract collectors. You will work closely with the Japan-based Sales & Experts team to onboard and support sellers, ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed. Your insights into Japanese trends and release information will be invaluable in shaping the auction offerings.
You will analyze market signals and collector demand to inform your strategies, helping to position Catawiki as a leader in the trading card market. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that the auctions reflect the latest trends and meet the expectations of collectors. You will also engage with the community to foster relationships and enhance Catawikiβs reputation in the trading card space.
