Overview

Cellares is seeking a Factory Service Engineer to perform maintenance, repairs, and support for their equipment. This hands-on role is based in Bridgewater, NJ, with occasional travel to South San Francisco.

Job Description

Who you are

You are an innovative and highly motivated Service Engineer with a strong background in service maintenance and repair. You thrive in a hands-on role and enjoy working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Your experience includes performing preventive maintenance, retrofits, upgrades, repairs, calibration, and troubleshooting of equipment, particularly in a GMP setting. You are prepared to tackle a broad selection of challenges as the company grows and are committed to contributing significantly to the success of the team.

You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and are comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. Your ability to adapt to changing circumstances and your willingness to learn new skills make you a valuable asset to any organization. You understand the importance of maintaining high standards of quality and compliance in your work, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and effectively.

Desirable

Experience with GMP process equipment is a plus, as is familiarity with the specific challenges associated with maintaining such systems. You may also have a background in engineering or a related field, which enhances your technical skills and understanding of the equipment you will be working with.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the service maintenance, repair, and support of Cellares' equipment at the Bridgewater facility. Your primary focus will be on performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise. You will also be involved in retrofitting and upgrading equipment to ensure it meets the latest standards and operational requirements. Your hands-on expertise will be crucial in calibrating equipment and ensuring it operates within specified parameters.

You will work closely with other team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance the efficiency and reliability of the equipment. Your role may also involve training and mentoring junior staff, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them develop their skills. You will be expected to maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
