CFGI is hiring a Director of Compliance and Reporting to lead their UK tax practice. You'll manage a high-quality team of tax professionals and guide clients through complex accounting and compliance challenges. This role requires over seven years of corporate tax experience, ideally from a Big 4 background.
Job Description
Who you are
You have over seven years of corporate tax experience, ideally with some of that time spent in a Big 4 firm. Your professional accounting qualification (such as ACA or ACCA) is complemented by a strong desire to further your expertise with additional tax qualifications like CTA. You excel in building and managing healthy professional relationships and are committed to continuous learning in the field of accounting and compliance.
You understand the complexities of the accounting, reporting, compliance, and tax landscape, and you are adept at navigating these challenges for a variety of clients, from global market leaders to emerging businesses. Your experience has equipped you with the skills to provide creative solutions and deep technical expertise in tax matters, ensuring that clients receive exceptional service.
What you'll do
As the Director of Compliance and Reporting at CFGI, you will be responsible for assembling and leading a high-quality team of tax professionals to grow the UK tax business. You will guide clients through complex business scenarios, leveraging your extensive knowledge and experience in corporate tax. Your role will involve developing strategies to address clients' accounting and compliance needs while fostering a culture of teamwork and professional excellence within your team.
You will work closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and provide tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements. This will involve collaborating with other departments within CFGI to ensure a comprehensive approach to client service.
