Who you are

You have a minimum of eight years of experience in finance and/or accounting, particularly within the life sciences sector. Your background includes working closely with FP&A functions, where you've developed expertise in modeling, budgeting, and forecasting. You possess strong analytical skills that allow you to assess business challenges and recommend effective finance strategies. Your ability to communicate clearly with clients and document requirements is essential for articulating the value proposition of various finance transformation solutions.

You are adept at identifying sales and spending trends, which helps you manage financial risks and uncover opportunities for growth. Your experience includes leading project teams and facilitating key requirement workshops with clients, ensuring successful delivery of FP&A initiatives that align finance with business strategy. You are also familiar with advancements in technology and innovations across the CFO ecosystem, which enhances your ability to provide best-in-class business partnering support.

Desirable

Experience with ERP technologies such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday is a plus, as is familiarity with tools like Power BI and Fusion. Your leadership skills enable you to guide project teams effectively, and your understanding of the life sciences industry allows you to navigate complex client needs with ease.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead and support project teams engaged in delivering a wide range of FP&A initiatives. You will help develop finance strategies by diagnosing client business challenges and recommending approaches that leverage CFGI assets. Your responsibilities will include managing financial risks and identifying opportunities through a deep understanding of sales and spending trends. You will also provide quality reports and analysis that inform business decisions, ensuring that your clients are equipped with the insights they need to succeed.

You will actively participate in CFGI's business development initiatives, leading all aspects of the proposal development process. Your role will involve developing thought capital and disseminating information about current and emerging trends in the finance landscape. You will maintain an understanding of advancements in technology and innovations that impact the CFO ecosystem, ensuring that your clients benefit from the latest insights and strategies.
