Overview
CFGI is seeking a Tax Director to manage a team of tax managers and consultants. You'll work on corporate global and U.S. tax planning and compliance. This position requires a minimum of ten years of experience in corporate or Big-4 public accounting.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a minimum of ten years of experience in corporate and/or Big-4 public accounting, demonstrating a strong foundation in tax accounting and compliance. Your educational background includes a relevant college degree, such as a Bachelor's degree in accounting, and you may hold a CPA or MST designation. You possess a deep knowledge of corporate global and U.S. tax planning, particularly in relation to ASC 740, and have a proven track record of building successful tax teams.
You are adept at working closely with executive and operational leadership, both within CFGI and with the C-suite executives of CFGI's diverse client base. Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to establish and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring their tax needs are met effectively. You thrive in a fast-paced and technically challenging work environment, where your motivation and self-starter attitude can shine.
What you'll do
As the Tax Director at CFGI, you will manage a team of tax managers and consultants, overseeing the review of quarterly and annual income tax provisions for multiple clients. You will conduct current and deferred tax analysis in accordance with ASC 740, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations. Your role will involve reviewing stand-alone and consolidated federal and state C-Corp income tax returns prepared by your team, providing guidance and support as needed.
You will also assist with tax planning and special projects, working directly with clients on-site as part of an overall tax team. Your contributions will extend to participating in new business development activities, helping to expand CFGI's client base and service offerings. You will establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and ensuring that tax provision processes and related disclosures are completed accurately and timely.
