Who you are

You have 1-3 years of experience as a People Coordinator, Recruiting Coordinator, or in a similar role supporting recruiting coordination and/or HR operations — you understand the importance of a smooth candidate and employee experience and are eager to contribute to that process. You are detail-oriented and have hands-on experience with tools such as Google Calendar and Greenhouse, which you use to manage scheduling and job postings effectively.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with peers and partners across the People team — your strong communication skills allow you to provide clear updates to candidates and internal stakeholders, ensuring everyone is informed and engaged. You are familiar with responding to employee inquiries through platforms like Jira and assisting with various employee lifecycle processes in Workday.

What you'll do

As a People Services Coordinator at Chime, you will support recruiting scheduling using tools such as GoodTime and Google Calendar — your role will involve managing job postings in Greenhouse and greeting candidates onsite to ensure a positive interview experience. You will communicate clearly with candidates and internal stakeholders to provide updates and flag any blockers that may arise during the recruitment process.

In addition to recruiting coordination, you will support People Services by responding to employee inquiries through Jira and assisting with employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, data changes, and terminations in Workday. You will follow documented processes carefully, maintain accurate records, and contribute to keeping documentation up to date, ensuring that the People team operates smoothly and efficiently.
