ChipStack is hiring a Founding Head of Sales to lead the revenue cycle and drive growth in the semiconductor industry. You'll collaborate with technical teams and develop a repeatable sales playbook. This role requires experience in high-growth startups and a passion for deep tech.

Job Description

Who you are

You have been a founding or very early sales hire at a high-growth startup, bringing a wealth of experience in building sales strategies from the ground up. Your technical acumen allows you to engage deeply with engineers, making you comfortable in technical discussions and product demonstrations. You obsess over customer success and long-term partnerships, focusing on building relationships rather than just closing deals. Your competitive spirit drives you to achieve outsized impact, and you thrive in environments where you can iterate quickly based on data. You are goal-oriented and enjoy the challenge of transforming early traction into exponential growth.

What you'll do

As ChipStack’s first dedicated Sales leader, you will own the entire revenue cycleβ€”from outbound prospecting and technical discovery through negotiation, close, and expansion. You will build and manage a qualified pipeline of enterprise and startup semiconductor accounts, running full-cycle deals that include prospecting, demoing with GTM engineers, scoping pilots, negotiating, and closing contracts. Your role will involve developing a repeatable sales playbook that includes messaging, qualification criteria, and win/loss insights. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to craft a sales motion that resonates with customers and drives growth.
