Job Description
Who you are
You have a solid background in product management, ideally with experience in point-of-sale (POS) systems. You understand the importance of consulting with leadership and engineering teams to drive new features and improve existing systems. Your analytical skills allow you to evaluate key metrics and identify areas for operational improvement. You are comfortable training local operations teams and ensuring they are equipped with the latest systems knowledge. You excel in stakeholder management, collaborating with various teams to align product outcomes with business goals.
Desirable
Experience in the restaurant or food delivery industry would be a plus, as would familiarity with software design principles. You are proactive in gathering feedback from users and local teams to enhance product testing and installation processes. Your ability to analyze complex problems and formulate solutions will be crucial in this role.
What you'll do
As a Product Specialist at Chowbus, you will consult with the leadership team and product/engineering teams to drive the development of new features for our POS systems. You will apply your theoretical expertise to innovate and improve product design, ensuring that our systems meet the needs of local operations teams. You will collect feedback from these teams to refine testing and installation processes, enhancing overall operational efficiency. Your role will involve meeting with managers, vendors, clients, and engineers to solicit cooperation and resolve any issues that arise.
You will also be responsible for designing software for our POS App products, analyzing key metrics such as defect rates and time to close issues to identify ways to reduce errors. Your logical analyses of business and technical problems will help formulate effective solutions. You will evaluate project plans and proposals to assess feasibility and ensure alignment with broader business objectives. Additionally, you will manage stakeholders from various departments, acting as a trusted partner by sharing progress, surfacing risks, and gathering feedback.
