Who you are

You have a strong background in cloud technologies and platform engineering, with a focus on development rather than just operations. Your experience includes architecting and developing internal tools and services that simplify cloud complexity for developers. You are proficient in GitOps practices and have a deep understanding of Kubernetes and Azure Container Apps, enabling you to create efficient deployment strategies.

You possess advanced skills in GitHub Actions, automating workflows and integrating external tools to enhance development processes. Your expertise extends to creating reusable Helm Charts and maintaining GitOps deployment platforms, ensuring that development teams can deploy applications seamlessly and securely. You have a mindset geared towards platform engineering, focusing on creating internal products that enhance developer productivity.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and evolving the Internal Developer Platform (IDP), creating Golden Paths that allow development teams to consume infrastructure and services in a self-service manner. You will architect and develop internal tools and CLIs that abstract cloud complexities, making it easier for developers to work with Kubernetes and Azure. Your responsibilities will include implementing advanced deployment strategies such as Canary and Blue/Green deployments using Helm and Service Meshes.

You will also design the architecture for GitHub Actions at a corporate scale, focusing on governance of runners, security templates, and caching strategies. Your role will involve collaborating with development teams to ensure that the tools you create meet their needs and enhance their workflows. You will be expected to maintain high standards of quality and best practices in development, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
