Overview
CI&T is hiring a Senior Design Systems Manager to oversee design system ownership and ensure quality in component creation. You'll work with Figma and React to deliver scalable UI components in Lisbon.

Who you are
You have extensive experience in design systems management, with a strong focus on building and documenting components, tokens, and behaviors. Your expertise in Figma allows you to maintain libraries effectively, ensuring high-quality component creation and adherence to design principles such as accessibility and responsiveness. You understand the importance of developer partnership and have experience ensuring parity between design tools and coded libraries.
You are skilled in collaborating with product teams to facilitate the adoption of design systems, creating training materials and onboarding resources that empower others. Your familiarity with AI tools enhances your ability to accelerate component generation and documentation, making you a forward-thinking leader in design systems.
What you'll do
In this role, you will take ownership of the design system, building and documenting essential components while maintaining the Figma libraries. You will ensure that the coded component library, built with React and ChakraUI, is up to date and meets the needs of various teams. Your responsibilities will include establishing contribution rules and governance to streamline the design system's usage across the organization.
You will launch and animate the Design System Community, creating engaging training sessions and show-and-tells to promote understanding and adoption. By partnering with DesignOps, you will define governance and ensure that the design system evolves to meet the needs of B2C, B2B, and B2O designers. Your role will also involve piloting smart linting and AI-based QA processes to enhance the design system's effectiveness.
