What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing and maintaining the performance of Azure SQL Server databases, ensuring that they support scalable data operations. You will lead root cause analysis for any database-related incidents, collaborating with product engineering teams to identify and implement corrective actions. Your work will involve developing reusable capabilities that empower other teams to manage data effectively. You will also engage in proactive incident management, ensuring that any issues are addressed swiftly to minimize impact on operations. As part of your responsibilities, you will work closely with data engineers and platform teams to ensure that the database architecture is robust and scalable, supporting the bank's growth and innovation initiatives.
