Who you are
You are a driven and tenacious individual with at least 1 year of experience in an outbound sales role, specifically as a Business Development Associate. You embrace challenges and are willing to work hard to achieve audacious goals. Your grit and determination set you apart as you navigate the complexities of business development in the consumer finance sector.
You possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, which has equipped you with the foundational knowledge necessary for success in this role. Your ability to engage potential partners about their goals and challenges is complemented by your understanding of the value that Affirm brings to the table. You are a thoughtful communicator who can articulate the benefits of our services effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will drive new business by identifying, qualifying, and developing new partnership opportunities for Affirm. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives and the rest of the Sales & BD team to strategize creative outreach campaigns and determine the priority of outreach based on potential impact. Managing the first stages of the Sales & Business Development pipeline will be a key responsibility, where you will perform initial cold outreach and nurture leads through various inbound channels, including phone, email, and social media.
Your contributions will significantly impact Affirm’s growth as we scale our core business and product. You will engage potential partners about their goals and challenges, educating them on the value of Affirm and how we can help them achieve their objectives. This role provides a pathway to a successful sales career, allowing you to develop your skills and grow within the organization.
