You have a strong background in software development with a focus on Java and full stack technologies — your experience includes building scalable applications and integrating complex systems. You are comfortable working with microservices and have a solid understanding of RESTful APIs, ensuring that your applications are efficient and reliable.

Your expertise extends to front-end development, particularly with ReactJS, where you have successfully integrated UI components with back-end services. You understand the importance of performance optimization and security in application development, and you are committed to delivering high-quality software.

You have experience deploying applications in cloud environments, particularly using Kubernetes and Docker, which allows you to manage and scale applications effectively. Your familiarity with event-driven architectures, especially using Apache Kafka, enables you to handle real-time data processing efficiently.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working alongside cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. Your communication skills allow you to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and optimizing server-side applications that power Clear Street's capital markets platform. You will work closely with other developers to build scalable microservices that meet the needs of sophisticated investors.

You will implement RESTful APIs that facilitate seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems, ensuring that data flows smoothly and efficiently. Your contributions to front-end development using ReactJS will enhance user experience and engagement with the platform.

You will also focus on optimizing application performance, security, and reliability, making sure that the systems you build can handle high volumes of transactions without compromising on quality. Your role will involve deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and scalability.

Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work with cross-functional teams to align on project objectives and deliverables. You will provide technical support for applications, troubleshooting issues as they arise and ensuring that systems operate smoothly.
