You have extensive experience in corporate actions operations, particularly within the Canadian securities market. Your strong judgment and comfort operating close to risk make you an ideal candidate for this senior role. You possess a keen understanding of equities and related cash movements, and you are adept at managing both mandatory and voluntary corporate actions. Your leadership skills enable you to guide teams through complex processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
You are comfortable with process design and have a track record of scaling operations without introducing fragility. Your ability to validate entitlements and manage elections and reconciliations is complemented by your commitment to ongoing automation efforts. You thrive in collaborative environments and are dedicated to fostering a diverse and high-performance workforce.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the corporate actions operations for Canadian securities, focusing initially on day-to-day processing tasks. You will lead the team in executing mandatory and voluntary corporate actions, ensuring accuracy in entitlement validation and cash movements. As you settle into the role, you will expand your responsibilities to support new products and increased volumes, adapting to regulatory changes as they arise.
