Your expertise in AWS and Kubernetes allows you to design and implement robust solutions that ensure high availability and scalability.

You are proficient in Linux and have experience with containerization technologies like Docker — you understand how to optimize deployment processes and improve system resilience. Your knowledge of databases, particularly PostgreSQL, enables you to manage data integrity and performance effectively.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to drive incident management processes — your communication skills help bridge the gap between engineering and operational teams, ensuring everyone is aligned on reliability goals. You are proactive in identifying risks and opportunities for improvement, using data-driven insights to inform your decisions.

You are passionate about automation and continuously seek ways to enhance operational efficiency — you have experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code practices, which you leverage to streamline deployments and reduce downtime. What you'll do

As a Senior Database Reliability Engineer at ClickUp, you will be responsible for improving the stability and reliability of our globally distributed infrastructure — you will build a deep understanding of how our systems behave, scale, and interact, using that insight to identify risks and opportunities for remediation. You will own and drive the incident management process across the engineering organization, participating in our follow-the-sun model to ensure continuous support.

You will define service level objectives (SLOs) and service level indicators (SLIs) for all critical systems, ensuring that we meet our reliability targets and provide an exceptional user experience. Your role will involve collaborating closely with software engineers to design and implement solutions that enhance system performance and reduce incidents.

You will also participate in capacity planning and performance tuning, ensuring that our infrastructure can handle increasing loads while maintaining high availability.
