You have 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, with a strong focus on maintaining and improving the reliability of large-scale systems. Your background includes designing and implementing cloud solutions, particularly with AWS, and you have a deep understanding of infrastructure as code and automation practices. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy engaging in healthy debates about architecture and infrastructure decisions.

You are passionate about building resilient systems and have experience with monitoring and alerting tools that ensure high availability and performance. Your expertise in incident management and troubleshooting allows you to quickly identify and resolve issues, ensuring seamless operations for millions of transactions. You are also committed to continuous improvement and enjoy mentoring junior engineers to foster a culture of learning and growth within your team.

Desirable

Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Docker is a plus, as is familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. You understand the importance of security in cloud environments and have implemented best practices to safeguard infrastructure.

What you'll do

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Cloudbeds, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our platform, which powers hospitality operations across 150 countries. You will architect and implement scalable AWS cloud solutions that support our ambitious goals, ensuring that our systems can handle millions of transactions seamlessly. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to foster a culture of automation, resilience, and continuous improvement.

You will have the opportunity to influence architectural decisions and work with cutting-edge cloud technologies at scale. Your role will involve designing and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact our customers. You will also lead incident response efforts, ensuring that our systems remain operational and performant.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will mentor and guide junior engineers, helping them develop their skills and understanding of site reliability practices. You will participate in on-call rotations and contribute to the development of best practices for incident management and response.
