Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology sector, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Your ability to build relationships and understand customer needs is exceptional — you thrive on helping clients navigate technical challenges and find solutions that enhance their online presence. You are a curious and empathetic individual, committed to personal development and learning new skills. You understand the importance of diversity and inclusion in a team and actively contribute to creating an inclusive environment.

Desirable

Experience in the cybersecurity or web performance industry is a plus, as is familiarity with Cloudflare's products and services. You have a strong understanding of the technical aspects of the solutions you sell, enabling you to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing remote work with in-person collaboration.

What you'll do

As a Senior Territory Account Executive at Cloudflare, you will be responsible for driving customer adoption of our services in Japan. You will work closely with Business Development Representatives, Solutions Engineers, and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. Your role will involve identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions that address their specific challenges. You will also be responsible for managing the sales process from initial contact through to closing deals, ensuring that you meet or exceed your sales targets.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that enhance customer engagement and retention. Your insights will help shape the sales approach and improve the overall customer journey. You will participate in regular training and development sessions to stay updated on Cloudflare's offerings and industry trends, ensuring that you can provide the best possible service to your clients.
