You have over 7 years of hands-on experience managing finance systems in a SaaS environment — you've successfully overseen finance software stacks and understand the intricacies of integrations and automation. Your strong expertise in NetSuite is complemented by your familiarity with Salesforce, allowing you to navigate complex finance cycles effectively.

You are a practical and delivery-oriented individual — you thrive in environments where you can take ownership of the finance systems roadmap, designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that drive efficiency. Your experience includes leading vendor selection and integration projects, ensuring that all finance processes are automated and reconciled seamlessly.

Your attention to detail ensures data integrity and master-data governance — you are adept at monitoring integrations and resolving system incidents as they arise. You have a knack for creating clear requirements and specifications, running user acceptance testing, and delivering comprehensive training and documentation to your team.

Collaboration is key for you — you enjoy working closely with Finance, IT/Engineering, RevOps, HR, and external vendors to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned and informed. Your ability to communicate effectively across departments helps facilitate smooth operations and project execution.

Desirable

Experience with additional finance systems or tools would be a plus, as would familiarity with compliance and control processes. You are open to learning and adapting to new technologies that can enhance Cognism's finance operations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own and run the finance systems roadmap — your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain the systems and integrations that power Cognism's core finance cycles, including Quote-to-Invoice, Procure-to-Pay, and Forecast-to-Budget. You will lead vendor selection and implementation projects, ensuring that the finance processes are automated and efficient.

You will be responsible for maintaining data integrity and master-data governance, monitoring integrations, and acting as the first line of escalation for system incidents. Your role will also involve creating requirements and specifications, running user acceptance testing, and delivering training and documentation to ensure that all users are equipped to utilize the systems effectively.

Collaboration will be a significant part of your day-to-day activities — you will work closely with various teams, including Finance, IT/Engineering, RevOps, and HR, to ensure that the finance systems align with the overall business objectives. Your insights and expertise will help drive improvements and innovations within the finance function.
